Built on belief that homes should evolve with the people inside them

Founded in 2018, fresh-piston emerged from frustration with the renovation industry's assembly-line mentality.

Where we started

Our founder spent twelve years working for large-scale property developers. The same floor plans. The same material specifications. The same soulless approach to spaces where people would spend decades of their lives.

There had to be a better way to approach residential design and renovation.

Our design philosophy

We don't believe in trendy aesthetics that age poorly. Instead, we focus on timeless proportions, quality materials, and layouts that support how you actually live.

Every project begins with questions, not assumptions. How do you use your kitchen? What frustrates you about your current bathroom? Where does natural light enter throughout the day?

The answers shape everything that follows.

The people behind your project

Our team includes interior designers with formal training, project managers with engineering backgrounds, and skilled tradespeople who've mastered their crafts over decades.

We don't subcontract to the lowest bidder. Everyone who works on your home is either a direct employee or a long-term collaborator we've worked with for years.

This consistency means quality control isn't a gamble. It's a guarantee.

What guides our work

Honesty Over Upselling

If a cheaper solution achieves the same result, we'll recommend it. Our reputation matters more than any single project margin.

Craftsmanship Standards

Corners cut during construction become visible flaws within months. We do it properly the first time, even when you can't see the work.

Respect for Your Time

Renovation disrupts daily life. We minimize inconvenience through detailed scheduling, clean work practices, and realistic timeframes.

Sustainable Choices

Where practical, we source reclaimed materials, specify energy-efficient systems, and design for longevity rather than replacement cycles.
